Welcome to the Alconbury Explorer Unit's new website. The functionality of the site is pretty much the same as before but based around a few different and newer applications.

You can still access the forums via the link on the left hand side of this page and use your username and new password to login. Please note that the site is now included as a section within the new 1stalconburyscouts.org.uk website, so you also have access to all of the content on that site with your new username and password. The Explorer Section normally meets on a Tuesday evening at Alconbury Memorial Hall from 1900 till 2100 unless otherwise informed.

The following program has been produced for the period Tuesday 6 Jan to Tuesday 31 Mar 2009; it remains a flexible program and can be subject to change at any time. Queries should be directed to any of the two Explorer Leaders, whose contact details can be found below.

All activities are conducted within the guidance of POR and risk assessments are carried out where required. Suitably qualified instructors or leaders are involved at every aspect of every activity. Should any Explorer Scout have an interest in any activity for inclusion in subsequent programs, please contact any leader.
