Well Done to all the Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and our sole Explorer, Chris. You did yourselves and 1st Alconbury Scout Group proud. Thank you to everyone who who provided refreshments (they all disappeared very quickly after the Service!) Also to everyone who read and to our flag escorts. Many of the congregation commented how great it is to see the Uniformed Sections carry out the traditions of the Scout and Guide Movement, and more than one had a memory of themselves at the same age renewing their promises and performing flag duties in Church too. So well Done to all and thank you to Father Martin and everyone else involved in organising the Service.
