A Big BRAVO to all who supported the Remembrance Sunday Church event!  Everyone was smartly turned out in Uniform and the sight of all the flags being paraded down Alconbury High Street was very impressive.  Those who did the readings were confident and were clearly heard even right at the back of the church.

Well done everyone, you can feel really proud of yourselves as you showed the 1st Alconbury Scout Group and the Alconbury Guides in the best way possible.

THANK YOU!

Cubs raise over £200 for Save the Children

The cub leaders are very proud to announce that the Pack raised an astonishing £237 for Save the Children with their sponsored pack silence.

The cubs managed to keep quiet for a whole hour and still have fun with a mix of activities designed around different methods of communication. Plenty of family and friends came to support the cubs and enjoy the homemade cakes and refreshments on sale. To celebrate their success, the evening rounded off with the cubs getting to custard pie Akele, Shere Khan and Baloo!

Many thanks to the cubs and to all of you who supported the event in anyway and helped to achieve such a fantastic result.
